2009-2010 Events
Summer
Booster Membership Drive – The Membership Drive begins in June and continues into the school year. There are many memberships available and ALL support our athletic programs. The most popular Memberships include reserved parking and seating at all home, regular season football games. Current members are given the first opportunity to renew in June and keep their same seats. The next week, current members may change seats and the following week, memberships are available to new members. There is definitely a membership for everyone. You may donate 10% of your membership fee BACK to any sport that you desire. Each year, the Booster Club gives back thousands of dollars to every sport at LBHS.
Billboard & Banner Sale – Located at every sports venue on the LBHS campus, you will notice that local businesses take the opportunity to support their community high school and advertise their business. Banners are located at each venue and larger signs/billboards are located at the baseball field and the stadium. We are always looking for new businesses to partner with us so that we both benefit. The Lake Brantley community is incredible in their continued support. We would like to invite you to share in this mutually beneficial program.
Fall
Spring
Spring Carnival – This is an event that has been a part of Spring in Altamonte Springs for many, many years!! It is held each year on Forest City Road between Classic Chevrolet and the new SCC campus. This has been a very reliable fundraiser for us, even in the rougher economic times.
Principal’s Annual Fund Run – This fundraising event was started by Darvin Boothe, principal of LBHS for almost 30 years, as a way to involve the community with the school. Many local businesses support LBHS by making a contribution to this Event. It is a 5K run (or walk) held towards the end of the academic year as a big “push” to collect extra funds to help pay down or eliminate excess debt incurred from our bigger projects. Excess funds are currently being funneled towards aggressively reducing the debt on the turf field. In this economic environment, we do not want to take on additional large projects while we still have significant outstanding debt.
